I guess I'm still wondering why a mechanical LSD and 345mm Golf R commonized brakes were never offered to begin with? I'll have to see if this package is in fact priced accordingly to whereabouts of a BBK+LSD

There has to be some reason to justify the price difference to the R. If you keep pushing the GTI upmarket, then the R has to follow.

On another note. I'm very happy to see we are getting the performance package.
