GTI MK7.5 Camber problem

So hopefully someone can give a bit of advice on this.

I bought a MK7.5 GTI PP from a VW at the end of April this year. A few weeks back I noticed uneven tyre wear which is mainly apparent at the front.

N/S/F 4.1/4.3/4.8

O/S/F 3.0/3.6/4.9

No big deal I thought, take it to Kwik-Fit and get the tracking done. They said the tracking is fine, it's the camber that's out and they don't touch that. So had it in today at my local VW dealer, they've also said the camber is out and they don't have the facilities to fix it either.

I have no idea what to do, I've phoned the VW dealer I got it from, who've said they're willing to look at it, the problem is, they're a 3 hour drive away.

How easy is it to fix the camber at the front? Off the top of my head the print out from Kwik-fit was showing around -1.5 at the front. (Forgot to ask for the print out back).

Find a shop that does full alignment jobs.

That's what I initially was thinking. But the dealer that looked at it sent me an email with this quote, "To have this resolved it would require the camber to be adjusted which does involve heating off the rear bolts to readjust - with using heat on the vehicle there is potential that it could melt the bushes which could require the suspension arms/bushes to require replaced too.
After this has been adjusted it will require the ACC calibration."

Because the car is under warranty I'm not sure whether to go down the route of a 3rd party or put it back to the dealer where it was bought. Am I right in thinking they should have picked up on the uneven camber before they sold the car?

The dealer already looked at it?

Only reason the bolts need heat is if they're too corroded to remove. But yes, loosening the subframe bolts is the only way to adjust camber.
I've never had my ACC calibrated after an alignment, if ride height isn't changing I don't see a need for it.
Sounds like they're priming you for taking as much money as they can. Only pay for labor + new subframe bolts IMO.

What I dont get is the 3-4 VW dealers close to me all have alignments racks. They should be able to do camber if they need to.
