My GTD is about 7 months old. All the other wheels are perfect, haven't curbed any wheels and pretty annoyed

Worth speaking to VW?

Looks like stone chip damage, unfortunately a normal aspect of motoring and not something VW would be liable for.

Paint chip correction is what you need.

^What he said. Rims are effectively debris choppers at highway speed. I don't like painted rims for this and aesthetic reasons.

This said, hit the dealer or online for a chip repair kit.

I nicked the edge of a wheel recently and enquired a new wheel entirely since the car hadnt even hit 500 miles, I was so annoyed having only ever kerbed another wheel once in 14 years of driving, anyway...

Was surprised to hear they were looking over £500 for one wheel!!! Did I pick the parts guy up wrong or is this right enough???

Sorry, edited to add same wheels, 18" Nogaros on a GTD.
