Fitted the new wheels and pretty happy with the result .. 19x8.5j ET42 with 235 35 19 Avon ZZ5 and H&R springs -45mm .. the front caught the front wheel arch liner screw so did the front fender screw mod and its all good no more catching on the liner .. she sits just right imo;):D:D:D

:D:D Looks awesome dude!

The front fender mod to stop the arch liner rubbing? How do you do it? Mine has been catching for the last two months on VWR springs and its doing my head in!

Also where did you get the GTi Diffuser from? or do you have a part number for it?

Hello, I just purchased a 17 GTI which is lowered on Eibach springs. I’m looking at putting on a set of OEM 19 inch Pretoria’s with 235/35/19 tires. Does anybody have this setup if so any rubbing or did you go with a lower profile tire?

Has any MK7 GTD owner replaced their OEM springs with VWR, Eibach, H&S or other. Wondering if there are any views/opinions on the best option for lowering the car to fill those gaps for general road use (other than leave OEM)?

Thanks
Having my 2015 GTD lowered with RacingLine springs tomorrow at QST in Haywards Heath, along with 15/20mm spacers... can't wait for the result!

H~i .. ive fitted Eibach pro springs to my GTD, hope the image link works.. dropped almost 30mm on front and approx. 20 on rear .. rides really well, hit bump stop a few times on front but looks great, and handles excellent and helps putting down the torque.... Standard shocks..
