Grill not clipping into bumper

Driving me nuts. Passenger side of the grill keeps slowly slipping away from the bumper….i get the grill seated in place, bolt it down, and then it slides out.

I don’t see anything that can be broken to cause this. Yes someone hit my car and broke the headlight (which I’m getting fixed soon), but I’m not seeing anything wrong with the bumper or the plastic bracket that the bumper hooks to that would cause something to be out of alignment. The grill initially is in place but slides out and only on the passenger side

Sounds frustrating! The impact might’ve subtly bent a clip or bracket, even if it’s not visibly broken. Check for misaligned mounting points or loosened clips near the grille on the passenger side. Once the headlight is replaced, that might help realign everything too.

Oh you mention a good point. Slightly bent clip on the grill or bracket on the bumper. I stared at it for 2 hours, I couldn’t pinpoint it
