So pick a few of the best fool!

And make sure they aren't 35MPH roads.

I hated that about CO, all the great roads in the mountains and middle of nowhere were 35-40MPH zones.

Of course, I'm struggling to find any decent roads here in MO at all so there is that.........

I've ridden Stunt, Decker, Mulholland on my bike.

You have to get out either really early or really late to avoid the traffic.

Remember doing a cruise with the Corrado Group out in Malibu many moons ago. The calipers on some of the cars were smoking at the bottom of the run.

The "Rock Store" or the "Snake" was a popular section of Mulholland. Jay Leno would be at the Rock Store on weekends with his motorcycle. When I was deep into road biking...I'd be out there just about every weekend.

As I was adding the Southern California sites I kept thinking... with all those people in LA you'd have to be out at the crack of dawn to actually have a run that wasn't a stop and crawl. I understand why though because those roads are pretty amazing as far as a fun and technical drive.

I hope folks will submit their best roads as it's nice to have a place to find a new spot at a glance. I've pulled everything I could out of old posts and am going to be working on Northern California for a bit. Anything you can add would be most welcome sir. 🚗💨

I've started working my way through the Pashnit's guide for California. If you see an entry which has this at the end:

(A+ Pashnit Guide)

...then you really want to check it out. The guy does full and detailed reviews, lots of pictures and covers everything from road surfaces to traffic and services along the way. I urge you to click any drive with that tag as you won't be sorry you did.
