Hello everyone am in Botswana. my VW golf 7 TSI 2014 model, import from singapore is not blowing hot air even when i selected the knob to High, blower is working well and aircon is prefect. what can be the cause. please help am feeling cold when am driving in the morning

Possible clogged heater core, at least that's the first thing i'd check.

That was off the top of my head, before you delve into that can we get some more information?

Are you having any issues with overheating?

Can you smell coolant?

Have you checked to make sure the thermostat is opening correctly?

There are quite a few things it could be, from the heater core to the flaps being stuck. Do you get a different temp air from other vents?

no issues with overheating, car is always on 90 degrees even when stationary.
no bad smell of coolant.
haven't checked thermostat because the temperature is always normal

AC is working just fine? Googling around on it seems it can be a clogged heater core, a bad flap motor/stuck flap or a few other things. Most threads seem to recommend having a mechanic look at it as most repairs can require removing the dash.
