Golf R Bumper on GTi

Will a Golf R bumper fit on a GTi? I know the mounts are the same. I'm mostly concerned about the exhaust being in the way. What are your guys thoughts?

Bumper alone no. If you change both diffuser with bumper then I believe it would fit OK

I measure the exhaust tip on both and see if this is true when I get home this evening

The bumper will fit, but you will also need the corresponding diffuser. GTI diffuser doesn't fit the R bumper and vice-versa.
