Firstly you should have ccs wires, it's mean if you don't ccs, you have to run a wire between ecu and steering column, it changes depends on the engine type.
Then other questions, if you let me your VIN via PM, i can check online all parts on the car.

I have a 2019 GTI with the ACC sensor built-in from the factory.
Can someone confirm that all I would require to enable ACC are the following items:
1. ACC steering wheel buttons (need compatible part numbers??)
2. Retrofit code procedure/cost?

Agreed, even though I cant tell what happened in this case., working with doctor was never an issue for my retrofits. (other than the time zone difference , the payment platform not supporting paypal and the technology - team viewer, network speed, etc). As long as you plan the timing, doctor was able to commit to it.
In my ACC retrofit project, it took almost 4 hours on day one, followed by another 2 hours next day to make sure all the components were working. One pre-requisite obviously is to have all the parts installed - Eg. Steering wheel buttons, sensor, ABS and the right camera (if applicable) wired up.
Note that it is extremely difficult for someone to work remotely coding your vehicle without physically seeing the error lights / beeps and status on the MFD and Infotainment., so keeping the communication open is key.

Hi I have the right ABS pump I guess, I was looking to get the radar installed behind the logo but I don't think my grill has room for it. Can you confirm this method is better than fitting the radar behind the logo?

I'm not sure either method is better in actual function. The radar behind the logo is more protected I suppose. The Mk7.5 bumper is slightly different from the Mk7 bumper so I made an assumption the grill would be slightly different as well. That assumption could be wrong... but I never looked into doing the logo mount on my Mk7. From the dealer, I ordered a replacement front crash bar (with the mount for the radar) and the proper lower grill insert for the bumper. Could grab these from a wrecker though, off a car with rear damage.
