Get the rear parking grid lines to move?

I understand it is the steering angle sensor that causes the rear parking grid lines to “move” when you are backing up and turning the steering wheel.

This happens in one of my other cars and I like it.

I did a search and can’t find anything.

Is there a way to activate this feature?

Thanks

From what I remember reading on another thread here, you need a Highline camera to accomplish this. Can't seem to find that specific thread at the moment though...

Our BMW and MB both do this. I hate it. I much prefer how the GTI lines stay straight / in place. More simple for my brain anyway.

I doubt this can be changed on the VW. But always interested to learn more.

This isn't helpful to the question about getting moving lines, but I've been in cars with and without it. The arcs that move aren't always accurate, and can cause you to miscalculate your turn radius when backing if you are solely concentrating on that. Now I prefer either no lines or just the straight lines as my eyes and brain can figure out my reversing trajectory just fine.

Thank you. I have a 2018 GTi Autobahn so presumably have the Highline camera.

Thank you.

Will read through it and then plug in my VCDS cable

Interested in what you find. Although I would personally still leave it as is.
