Gearbox Issue

Car's booked in with a Gearbox specialist for next Wednesday. £50 to have a look at it and if I decide to get it repaired from them that will be knocked off. They've advised it's usually £100 for the bushing kit, saying that, they've not had a look at it. So it could be something completely different. Fingers crossed it's something relatively cheap.

most likely the stupid yellow plastic pivot pin by the gearstick itself...& I ripped out the centre console & fitted the Dieselgeek superpin which made quite a difference...& I have made all the other parts metal....

VW made the whole mech on the top of the gearbox & the gearstick mech in the cabin...ALL PLASTIC...for the MQB platform...it used to be all metal!!

Thought I'd update the thread as the loose gear lever is no longer. Gearbox specialist diagnosed a faulty turret. Never heard of that before lol, but it's fixed the issue .Totally changed the way the lever goes into the gears.
