The pump itself would work in a Gti but the basket is not interchangeable. I would suggest buying the kit and doing the work yourself in that case.

The MPI kit still available ? Also this might be a dumb question but would I be able to transfer the LPFP from the AWD basket to the FWD basket?

Yes you can, but it would have to be a situation where you were getting the pump for a very cheap price... the benefit of buying wastes kit is getting the labor and basket assembly for awd owners

While you could swap it and technically I’m selling cheaper than buying the pump and line new from PR I don’t see it as being a good value. Now buying mine If you’re awd is literally half price from buying the pump installed in a basket and the line from PR.
