This is the best hitch money can buy for the MK7.5 (2018-2021) Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Light weight with removable hitch receiver that securely locks when in use. 350lbs rack capacity, which is the most capacity on the market. 2" receiver. Made in the USA.
This is the "Rack package" for use with hitch-mounted bike racks and other accessories (I have a wheeled cart for carrying a kayak also for sale). The "Towing package" can be purchased separately, which includes wiring harness, ball receiver, and safety chains.
Paid $640 for it last June. Fairly easy to install provided you look up how to remove the bumper carefully so as not to damage clips, etc. Requires minor cutting of the bottom face of the black diffuser on the bottom of the bumper. Includes original box and manual.
Asking $250
Selling the car soon and don't need it any more.
Pictured with the Hollywood bike rack I used it with (not included).
