I'm sure you can make it fit the R. Essentially all of Beri Backers front lips were the same threw the models only difference may of been just the shape of the front lip. Heres there Mk7.5R front lip looks almost identical to there Mk7.5 Gti one. So heres a side comparison the R vs Gti 7.5. Only thing you'll have to do is just drill your own mounting holes in the bumper to mount the lip.
