Selling one IS38 Hybrid Turbo. This came off a 2018 Golf R and was swapped out for a different turbo setup. I believe it was the fifth one they had done hence the "005" engraving. It was on the car for 10 months and 7,500 miles. It made 427hp/404 tq on HPA's Superflow dyno in October 2018. It's been sitting in the garage and I don't have a need for it.

$1,200 shipped to lower 48.
It is in the box ready to ship.
Transaction fees are on the buyer.

Welcome to the forum. What turbo did you switch to and what are your numbers now?

I switched to a bigger hybrid turbo and port injection. HPA calls it the FR500. It's about 50hp/50tq more than before. Peak numbers were around 475hp/440tq on 92 oct but the torque holds on for a lot longer before falling off. Response and spool up time is the same as the FR450. It just pulls a lot harder everywhere.

Is there a reason wastegate actuator is disconnected. Assuming it's not calibrated then as well

I'm not really sure. That's how it was boxed up when they took it off the car.
