Bro market isn’t that hot, I’ve seen used GTI’s sitting for months that are priced high

True. But the fact that people are asking that much means the market has done a weird shift. There may be a short window in which all kinds of crazy sales are made.

Both new and used car inventory is limited and there's no doubt on that. Carvana is offering a buying price for my other vehicle which falls under the lower range of KBB private value. But I don't think we have reached a point where people are being crazy money for a used vehicle.

might be somewhat limited because people aren’t going anywhere, lol. Lack of people buying new cars and trading in. There won’t be as much demand though because like I said people are working from home and not going anywhere

there are also a lot of people selling their cars because they no longer have to commute and don’t want to pay the car payment for it to sit in driveway

Also I’m sure Carvana is making a good money with their online buying and delivery during Covid.

Priced too high. Warranty will expire in a few months. There's been several guys posting about buying a brand new GTI for only a few thousand more.

Looks like it's right in the ballpark:

first of all, it’s a 3 year old car and you are rating it at excellent. Excellent is for like brand new cars or showroom condition.

second, I have been watching used gti’s lately and they are selling under kbb value. No one is paying that much for a used GTI. They were selling for less than that new. You can do what you want, just saying
