I have a vroom offer for 29.5K which I plan to accept by 11/14 if nobody steps forward in the next couple days to purchase my 2019 Great Falls Green Alltrack SE with Lighting Package and 6-speed manual. Car has 18.2K miles and is overly maintained (5K OCI, both brakes and Haldex have already been flushed).

Car has the 6 year/72K B2B warranty beginning 4/2020, ending 4/2026 (or @ 72K miles, whichever comes sooner). The car has been tuned with APR Plus, the warrantied stage 1 87 octane tune.

this is my 3rd tuned manual turbo VW so I know all about staying out of boost in 5th and 6th and below 3K RPM in 4th. I never floor it until the engine is up to operating temp. I perform preventative Italian tuneups in the last 1K miles before each oil change to keep the carbon away, and whenever on long highway runs. I also run exclusively top tier 93, usually Shell or Sunoco to maintain the fueling system, and for maximum performance even on an 87 tune.

Car has a few tasteful mods that do not decrease reliability:

1. PPF, Ceramic coating, and 90% heat rejection ceramic tints installed the month I got the car with less than 1K miles on the odometer. Tints are 30F/20R.
2. Grey Rokbloz mudflaps go very well with the overall accenting/design language of the car
3. APR Lower Steel Insert, 034 Upper Aliminum Insert, and APR Pendulum arm installed for driveline stiffness.
4. Clutch stop installed, clutch spring removed, ECS Bleeder block installed. Clutch actuates quite well, for being stock.
5. Helix soundbox installed and coded to Sportwagon profile
6. Superpro RSB + Moog endlinks installed

The good:
1. Last model year a manual station wagon was sold in America. If you’re a manual wagon guy, this is the last chance.
2. Comes with most-desired color/interior combo, Green exterior/brown interior.
3. Well maintained, well-understood, well-loved by a lifelong VW enthusiast who has owned nothing but Golf platform vehicles.
4. PPF + Ceramic coated, so no rock chips on the front fascia of the car, and the rest of the paint has a sacrificial layer to protect from scratching and make cleaning easier.
5. Never a CEL, no indication whatsoever of issues with the engine, transmission, or clutch.

The bad:
1. This car’s panoramic sunroof had a very minor leak (minor staining where the passenger a pillar meets tethat I noticed only because I was actively searching for signs around 7K miles. Car was repaired under warranty and has not leaked since, and it stays outside full time.
2. While the car was at the dealer for pano fix, the dealer tech’s belt buckle pressed into the passenger rear door while reinstalling the rear, fixed glass. I didn’t notice until 12 days , at which point dealer claimed plausible deniability.
3. There’s a scratch on the driver side rear door that I have no idea how it happened, was likely a person rubbing against it in a parking lot or similar. Would be fixed easily with some GFG touch up paint.

I am not buying until April of next year, once I get my tax return + bonus. The lady and I are splitting the monthly payments on her JSW TDI until then. I will be putting the monthly savings from no insurance, and ~40% the monthly payment, combined with the 10K in cash this puts back in my pocket, and my tax return/bonus next year towards paying off the entirety of my credit card debt as well as a sizable down payment on a low mileage one owner Touareg TDI that I have 6 months to find :)

Pardon my ignorance.. keeping below 3k rpm in 4th gear..? What's that all about.
I said *staying out of boost... below 3K in 4th*
4th is too tall for the engine to rev freely at WOT, so the low-end torque with no accompanying horsepower these turbo engines make is enough to slip the clutch in many cases. Not on stock power of course, but definitely a possibility if tuned.

ive never slipped the clutch once.

Please, someone buy this car from me. I would also include the BNIB Superpro Engine mounts + Golf R Bilstein B6 struts and 6MT Golf R Front Springs + R Estate rear springs in sale for an additional $1500. Though I'm sure these Superpro mounts will be spoken for in a matter of minutes.

Paperwork came in the mail yesterday, scooping it from my parents house today. Vroom must be backed up with tons of people accepting offers since they’ve been the hold up at every step of the process lol

From what I've heard, that seems to be the norm with them.
