Question about the wiring harness, why do you have one labeled mid 1 and the other mid 2? Doesn't one set go to the tweeter?

This was in the front door. With the Fender Package, the front door speaker has 4 wires (2 positive wires and 2 negative wires). That's because the OEM speaker is dual voice coil so it uses all 4 wires.

If you replace the OEM speaker with an aftermarket one you only need to use 2 of the 4 wires so that leaves 2 other wires dangling around in the door. I labeled it "Midwoofer 2" because I was considering curtting into the door panel and installing a 3 inch midwoofer as well. You could really use those 2 extra wires for anything.

it’s a 10%rebate Not 15. But still a thing. If the VW service card $25 rebate stacks then you can get $44+25= $69 rebate on a $450 part for a net $370, assuming shipping is free which it likely is not. Not too bad for brand new, though I paid $350 for a used one that was already pre-coded to my car

The 15% ended last month. It was their 3rd quarter rebate. Current one is 10% Oct 1st to Jan 1st.

Submitted mine last week and already received approval email from VW. I think I may have had to type out Volkswagen instead of using VW....but Murietta was definitely included in the list.

Yeah it had to be typed exactly as "Volkswagen of Marietta" – I tried VW, Murietta, etc. but it has to be that exact combination it seems like. Either way I got my approval email as well so all good here... just have to find time to install it now.

Everyone happy with the results after installing this? My MK6 had dynaudio and this SE has base stereo setup and it's boring and flat.
