Golf R/Stage 2...had Macan and it didn't work for me. seemed like pad knockback, which a lot of calipers end up with on the track. the Veloster N, even though faster around the Lightning Lap than a MK7 GTI or R, has pad knockback.
On the R, I went through a race pad in maybe 2-3 track days with the Macan and OEM setup (1 day)
Pagid did a presentation and was basically a lot of fade comes to down the rotors. It's the big heat sink, so that was my deciding factor. I Upgraded to the ST-60 was the best thing I did. Pads last much longer, I went with Pagid RSL-29 for track and no brake fade now. It also has a much better feel than any other setup. Sometimes spending more, saves in the long run.
