Check the bluetooth connect for iphone/android, sometimes people have "First Name Last Name's Phone" in there, and you can contact the previous owner with a little bit of social media stalking.

That was a good idea, but the previous owner cleared that out. Only my phone is there.

@Grave314 did you ever figure this out? Just curious. I randomly stumbled across this box code the other day and this thread. I'm not 100 percent sure if its a USDM or ROW box code, but I'm assuming you don't have a bunch of weird errors on various modules etc?

Also, show them this (and the dealer). It appears to be an update for 2015+ Golf R, MT only? It actually says 2017 only but that's also strange.
