Ehm, are you sure about those pin numbers? it should be from pin3 to pin3...


That's why everyone says: before doing any coding, backup all your default settings in a VCDS channel map..

Now, unfortunatly, it will cost you money...

But you know what.. i'll do you a favor, details in pm

Ok. All day is not going as planned.
I did led taillights mod before same way bcm to taillights harness. On 2015 gti I used hs tuning harness and coding and all was perfect. This time on 2017 R I used sigi_dr version. I don't know what did I do wrong but something for sure. This is outcome with outer blinkers. They stay solid on all the time and only inner blink when turning. Please see picture when blinkers are off.


Please someone point me to the right direction.

Yes everything works OK. Just outer blinkers are solid at all time and they are on as soon as I turn lights on. Only inner blinkers blinks when required.

Super this forum. I do my Led tail lights next week like Mk7norway.
Is this coding funktion after mounting the Leds ?

Select -> 9 Central Electronik -> Security Access -> 31347
Adaptation -> Channel: (4) Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9-Lichtfunktion A16: Set = Blinken lins Dunkelphase. (Default:Blinken Links Hellphase)
Adaptation -> Channel: (4) Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3-Lichtfunktion A17: Set = Blinken rechts Dunkelphase. (Default: Blinken rechts Hellphase)

If you read the howto mk7norway wrote you will notice you don't need any coding...

Coding is only needed if:
- You have an US golf (since you're from Sweden, not the case)
- You want to some specific coding like alternating blinkers (in which you will have to follow an entirely different howto)

This post is interesting because the thread was too long to read and it seemed like fitting these was a ton of work.

As a U.K. Golf owner are you saying it's simply a case of buying them and having someone fit them almost a straight swap? Aside from getting the inner indicator to work as that needs a wire run from the out to the in. Is that wire already on the originals or is it a messy job.

If that wire would already be there, it would have been plug and play, so no it's not there...
The moment you plug in the LED's they will already function, ony the inner blinkers and bi-color led will need extra wiring...

So you could perfectly buy the lights, put them in yourself and drive around like that until you find someone who could do the extra electrics for you

Hi. I have read all. I mean the dynamik blink coding if you look...
;-)
I can understand it will not funktion cause no wire to BCM?

If by dynamik you mean the LED taillights from the mk7 facelift, i doubt it will be easy...

For starters they have to fit, history tell's us facelift taillights don't allways fit properly without modifications (Polo 6N and 6N2)
Secondly i don't know if they would work on the pre-facelift BCM...
