First Track Day of The Year

The season is upon us! Did my first track day of the year yesterday (second ever) in my R. So much fun I absolutely cannot wait for the next one. This was also the first time I really got to feel the impact of the stage 1 EQT tune. The difference is unbelievable. The amount of power in 5th gear is amazing. Even though it was cold yesterday it made me re-think the order of operations for my next mod. I know many of you have suggested this in the past but I am thinking IC before DP at this point. I didn't have any overheating but still seems like the smarter choice for a car that see's 4-5 track days a year.

Yeah, an upgraded intercooler would be my vote. I thing of an IC upgrade like a brake upgrade. A BBK may not drastically better your stopping distance, but it should help keep your brakes from going soft during prolonged abuse.

An intercooler wont prevent overheating, it will prevent heat soak.

Correct, heat soak not overheating. BBK helps the brakes from going "soft". IC helps a turbo/supercharged engine from going "soft".
