"Fifth Gear" Discovery channel (UK) Mon 8.00pm

I notice that on the Fifth Gear programme on the Discovery channel (UK) @ 8.00pm on Monday, those two well known presenters Tiffany Dell and Jason Plonker are doing an "old Golf vs new Golf" test.
I've no idea what it will be like (probably $hite as most of their tests are), but might be worth watching for a laugh

Well, if previous programs are anything to go by it'll be rubbished. I found it incredible recently when they tested a Mk7 Golf and Seat Leon only a few shows apart - the Golf was rubbished while they were all over the Leon. Only Vicki-Visible-Pantie-Line stuck up for the Golf, but she was shouted down by Viagra-man Tiff-The-Tosser.

Vicki is a known Golf lover - she drives a Mk2 GTi, whereas Tiff-The-Tosser clearly isn't.

I was never a fan of Fifth Gear, but since it was taken over by Discover it's taken a turn for the worse with obvious bias in favour of whoever pays the most, and domination of the team by the Tosspot himself.

I normally really like Fifth gear but when Tiff gave the Ford Transit van 10/10 in the team test last week i couldn't believe my ears!!

I think taken up by Discovery Channel might describe things better Rob. Discovery Channel must be further down the plug hole than Channel 5.

I think Jonny Smith is great and deserves his own show.

Mk1 GTi vs. Mk7 GT TDi

To quote the Tosser in chief "The Shopping diesel beats the icon".

i.e. Mk7 GT out performs the Mk1 GTi significantly.
