Fake Sunroof wrap.

Hey, so my car doesnt have A sunroof and I was thinking of wrapping half the roof so it looks like i do have one( in my opinion it adds so much to the look of the car)

I Saw a guy do it to MK7s in my country And it looks just like the real deal but its really expensive so i thought i'll do it myself, And i have a few questions.

1) How far does the wrap have to go on the roof from the edge of the windshield back? i know its around 90cm but im not really sure.

2) how wide does it have to be? ( i included a pic of the edge of the roof)

Ehhh. If wrapping the roof why not do a dry-carbon fiber look on the whole roof? Would look better than the automotive version of a comb-over.

Ive seen full roof wraps and i didnt like it as much as just the "sunroof" portion of the roof, Dry carbon can look good but i want it to look OEM so i go with gloss black.

as far as width, you would go all the way to the roof ridge edges since the sunroof cars have a black trim there even those the glass is about 2" in from there.

yeah for some reason i don't really like the look of a full sunroof wrap. i like the look of just the sunroof.

if you fake the sunroof you have to fake the peeling clear coat too
