Hello!
I just got a standard 2019 VW Golf 1.4 TSI Automatic and I observed that there is a faint (very faint) sound when the gears change. I observed that it happens when starting from idle and reaching 2000rpm and then drops to the next gear.
The higher pitched noise sounds like a faint bell or the best way I could describe it is like a faint repetitive (on/off) tinnitus???
The only way you can hear it is if you have music off and you really pay attention to it but it is obviously there.
Is that normal? I observed that it starts happening 1-2 seconds before changing gears.
