They will because not only will it be loud, but also sound like a Honda/diesel tractor...there’s a big difference between good loud and just loud and these cars sound awful done incorrectly.
What would you do? Add a resonator? I still have the stock OEM resonator. I could just throw it back on

It won’t make any difference, the OEM resonator has about a dozen holes connecting the inner and outer chamber so basically it’s a big paperweight.

I already explained what I’d do via email, but bottom line is that setup will sound horrible without a proper resonator. If you have credit card debt I’d pay it off in full and enjoy the mods you have for now.

The CSS alone is good for what it is

I'll have to wait and see how it sounds then go from there. LOL I should bring it down by next month. I already saw the e-mail and I'll definitely keep my doors open and contact you via email for anything I need. You've been helpful man and I respect the effort/knowledge you put here in the community for years

How much does the OEM resonator weigh?

Hello all!

I Installed the CTS catted DP today and let me tell you this thing is loud. It isnt that bad(sucks that its raspy) It’s loud asf when you floor it. Tomorrow’s gonna be my first cold start LOL. Anyways No CEL so far, done about 40miles already. Feel some more power but I barely notice. My friend said it pulls more

Gonna install a vibrant resonator to bring down the rasp! Too sharp.

UPDATE:
Installed a Vibrant 1792 Bottle style resonator today at a local muffler shop. My exhuast setup sounds perfect now! It was nice to experience the difference in sound. Before it was cool being loud but was a lil raspy for my taste. The drone didn’t bother me. As of now the exhaust note is definitely deeper and how it should be. Setup is still loud but no rasp! When you floor it she purrs

Ended up cutting a piece of the res. delete to add the vibrant res.

On one side of the vibrant res. is the clamp on n other side is welded.

if you run a DP that doesn't give you a CEL, do you really need to remove it to pass emissions? Kind of an 'off' question for the OP's original question but i'm wondering. I'm on an AWE DP with no tune & no CEL so far

Nice, so whats your full setup now? CTS Catted CP, res delete but with the vibrant 1792, and a CSS muffler?

That might depend on where you are. Here in my county in So Cal...if you have a car newer than 2000...it just requires a visual and sniffer test. There are counties in California that don't require a smog test until you decide to sell. I have yet to try a downpipe...but I've had cars with tunes that have passed the sniffer test.

Yes!

I ended up having a local muffler shop cut a piece of the 034 res delete and welded one side of the res. n clamped the other side to the high flow cat. So whenever I want I can just cut the vibrant res off and weld the pipe that was originally the 034 res delete. Did this incase I ever wanna sell these two pieces.

CTS DP w/ HF CAT, Vibrant 1792 paired with 034 res delete, and CSS muffler (also have the 42DD O2 sensor installed)

Got about 600 miles already with this setup and no CEL !!! I was skeptical about getting a DP on a stock tune but it was definitely worth it especially the improvement in sound. My exhaust setup is exactly what I was looking for! Now I'm looking into some tires maybe some Firehawk Indy 500s. Best bang for your buck from what I've read
