Every time a new iPhone comes out...

My first 4S randomly had big yellow blotches on the screen that were supposed to go away and never did:

So I finally took it in before the 1-year warranty was up and got a new one. The new one got broken by Apple:

I told Apple I was not paying $200 to replace their issue and bought a Samsung instead. The Samsung also sucks. My Nokia phones from 2003 and 2005 were a hundred times better than anything on the market today and I would gladly pay more $$ for something with that level of quality instead of this throw away garbage they sell now.

I had the same Nokia from '05-'10... abused that thing and it never broke. I wish they made a smart phone like that. I have an S3 and it's decent. Cool features and I like the bigger screen size, it honestly fits in my pocket just fine, even in a case. Iphone 4 in an Otterbox is worse/I hate those cases.

Buying the new iphone every time is hilarious. People are such sheep. They've basically been the same thing since the 4 other than stealing a few android features each iteration. I have nothing against iphones but that mentality is just so weird to me. I would never go buy an S4 just because, my S3 will be just fine until 2015 when I get a free/cheap new one.

I will prob get the next Nexus. I just hope it's not as big as the GS4. The iPhone 5 is about the perfect size for me, but I prefer Google. And half the price.

Edit: It looks like the Nexus 5 is going to be slightly smaller than the Nexus 4 but with a bigger screen. I can handle that.

I disagree.

I have a Mac desktop, macbook pro, Ipad and Ipod touches and still much prefer my Droid phone (I had a 4s).

Battery life kills it for me with the apple phones. My huge Note II lasts a good 2-3 times longer than the iPhone did.

To the guys complaining about new upgrades requiring more processing power and slowing the phone down, would do you single out apple in this? EVERY phone manufacturer does software upgrades that older phones can't handle.

So true. Everyone at work with iPhones stays plugged into the wall all day. I get at least 24 hours out of my android and that's with streaming music for 10 hours.
