European members - Which winter tyres do you have?

I'm interested about use of winter tyres by our European members.

A couple of questions, please post which winter tyres you use (if you do)?

Do you have a dedicated set of wheels for your winter tyres?






I use Conti WinterContact TS850 on a set of dedicated alloys (16" Borbet CC alloys).

Dedicated set of easy to clean & non-snow clogging, five spoke 17x 7" Team Dynamics ProRace 3 alloys fitted with Michelin Alpin A5 tyres, 225/45R17.

I have stuck to the same size of tyre/alloy for both summer & winter & as per the OEM sizes the car came with as I think they are a good compromise for handling/comfort, & our roads where I am!

I ordered the car with Cadiz 18'' rims and take them (only) as dedicated winter rims.

Tires are Dunlop Winter Sport 4D in 225/40/18, very good winter tires. Use them from beginning of November to Easter.

Location is Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia (middle of Germany, secondary mountains)
