nis240sxt, which of the two stage 2 (91 or 93) are you going to settle on? I'm in Houston as well and seeing everything you're doing I think you're in a position to give some good advice. 91 in summer, 93 in winter? 91 and leave it?
I haven't had any issues with mine. I tried the 3rd gear punch from down low and it still pulls through. Not as hard, but doesn't die out. Tuned stage 2 in mid May and put 4,500 miles on it since. I can bet in that time I was WOT less than a dozen times. So maybe those few times I did hit it I used up my one shot before heat soak?
Yes, most likely you didn't hit the failsafe so it ran fine and didn't experience that threshold. As far as 93 version goes, i'm still testing but so can you now. I would run that and then run 91 or vice versa to see what feels better to you. Also, logging would help to to see how your car is interacting with the tune as far as timing goes. Your logic is correct though, 93 winter/91 summer is a pretty safe bet but we'll see since the 93 is updated now. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Here is a suggestion. Since some people might not know how to log, it would probably be a good idea to try and get a sticky on this forum or even better, have ED put something on their site that people can reference to. If I am available, I would be more than glad to contribute with anything that might be needed and thinking about that, maybe there should be a sticky for each tuner on this forum so people don't have to go searching through stuff and such... Might take some time but it's doable..
Thanks for all your help and looking forwards to only break some records with ED and nothing else lol although I have a feeling my clutch might get upset with me.
Excellent suggestions. Not sure how to do a sticky so maybe the other guys can help with that. Here's the logging procedure using ED flashy program for now:
click on controller diagnostics, get controller info, then measuring blocks.
Either select the variables you want to log from the tree view by clicking on them, or click the button that says “select all”
Click log to file when you want to actually record the data.
The log files will be saved in the c:\eurodyne folder.

Was just about to ask/suggest this "how-to". Just to be clear once you do the above the car should be running and when you want to actually record logs hit the "log to file"?
I haven't done any logging but I'm going to go out to my car now and flash.
Correct, car should be running when performing procedure above. I usually have the laptop/tablet beside me on driver seat and before doing a pull, click start logging to file. After my run or when i want to stop logging, click stop logging to file. Give us some feedback after you test it.
Will do. John did you flash back to stock before each revision or just update in place? Figure it will only flash the last block.

Should probably have Carlos put that info up in the first post when he gets a chance.
I flashed right over. Hopefully that was the right way to do it.
First impressions - it doesn't feel as torquey. That doesn't mean that it's slower, but personally I liked the torque down low with AWD. I only tested to about 70 mph as I didn't make it to the highway.
The car still pulls really hard, just more constant than before until the redline. This is the 93 1.5 file. I should also note that I didn't have any issues with the previous file.
