Hey guys, Stg 2 93 oct user here. I noticed the car being a bit "sluggish" with this warmer weather and it just dosent feel "right", so i checked the ED thread about a week ago and oh goodness the anger. I saw the previous thread was blowing up with hate, which kinda sucks. I am a ED fan for sure. Just curious what revisions are being made and what was the core of the issue? Honestly i pieced together timing issues/overspool? I had to filter through too much butthurt and flaming to come to that conclusion. I love ED and cant wait for the revision. <3

I will be taking my car to do 1/4 mile tomorrow. I will have Stage 2 from APR loaded on the car today. I will do couple runs with APR and than switch it to Stage 2 ED. I would hope ED will release 100 or 104 octane file today so I can try and run race fuel but if not 93 will do.

Main issue was mainly stage 2 and to a lesser extent 1.5 having performance issues in hot weather, really noticeable in gears 3 and up. ED says when IATs exceeded 50 C, a torque limitation would kick in limiting power. The new revision has fixed this.

Awesome, just make sure you after you flash ED, drive it around for a bit so it can adapt then run it. I'm pretty sure you'll run it in similar conditions to get close to an apples to apples comparo. Thanks for doing this and good luck!

I plan no more than 2 runs with APR so when I switch over to ED, I want to do at least 2-3 good runs. I am not sure how much would be considered "a bit" but I hope by 2nd or 3rd run with ED, car should "learn" ED and show me what it will do.

Thanks and expect some videos within next few days. I will post time slips tomorrow.

What is learned are the fuel trims I believe. I'd suggest some regular driving as well as a bit of spirited driving. It needs to recalibrate what fuel adjustments need to be across the RPM range.

Someone on the FB group wanted to mention that they believe that you can't go from APR to ED without having to flash back to stock first. I'm not sure if that's true, but wanted to convey the message.

Just to let everyone know, I recently updated my HP Stream 7 tablet from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

I had to reinstall the app as the drivers didn't get moved over. After that, the app works no problem. I also didn't have to change compatibility mode settings either, like I've seen mentioned elsewhere.

Can you provide more details regarding the compatibility mode? I have a Thinkpad W541 and I'm not able to start the flashing app... Had no issues previously (was also windows 8.1)

I agree. Definitely flash back to stock first, then ED.

Issue was with stage 2 93 octane file. The 91 octane I was testing ran fine.

So this was the NEW Stage 2 93 file giving you problems. Just trying to figure out if I should flash with the new version or not. Was it EPC or still boost loss? Also, thanks a bunch for logging and working with ED on this. I haven't been having major issues but still appreciate it.
