So I order the Eurodyne flash with power tap. I'm new to this and decided with Eurodyne after 4 month with my gti. I already hit my 5000k miles and did my first oil change.

I have read the Eurodyne solution thread and I know about all the issues that people are having with stage2. So please keep that in the other side, this about my excitement [emoji3]. Anyways so I flash the 1.5 91oct and I love the power of my car, it does spin a lot in second tho. I have 93oct but choose the 91 file to play save, but idk you guys that have this tune for a while can give me some advises and tips and il appreciate. Thanks.

Well I tested my car on 91, tomorrow I will do the 93oct. I definitely need to practice my launch, I can spin up to 3rd gear, or need to buy better tires.

From the day i flashed it, it NEVER broke tires loose like a beast. If i crack corners hard itll rip the tires like no other but straight line no tire spin at all, stock tires/rims. I do have a hunch my car doesnt "like" the tune, HOWEVER it doesnt deter me from ED. My goal is maestro so we can finalize it ourselves. Not one tune will produce a car that runs the same nation/ world wide! Thats the end game no? I want to be able to do it my self at home on MY laptop like I have been able too in the past and I dont want the same tune someone from jabib is running bc its diff temps ele etc... Eds end game is dope!

I'm guessing it's limiting torque, plus the hot weather would reduce power anyway. And hot weather means you have more traction.

I'm going through tires since my Eurodyne tune, but perhaps someone can help me understand my latest dyno run (on a Mustang dyno). I have a Mk7 GTI with Injen Cold Air Intake, USP downpipe, Eurodyne Stage 2 ECU flash, and a Neuspeed catback, but the dyno runs showed 174-211hp and 277-298 ft/lbs on 3 pulls. With all the advertised horsepower and torque gains of these add-ons, shouldn't those numbers be higher with this Eurodyne Stage 2?

My car seriously feels like about 180 hp in the heat. No lie.

Well 2 more months and temps will start to get cooler. I have my car tune the first time since yesterday and haven't experience any power loss. But I also don't abuse my car like that, only when someone pulls next to me and wanna race lol

I believe Mustang dynos read notoriously low as is but that sounds waaaaaaaay low. I'm sure you have seen it by now, but there have been some issues reported with the eurodyne tune. Not exactly sure how to describe it because I'm still relatively new to the chipping/tuning part of modifying but it sounds like the eurodyne tune was not adequately tested for warmer climates. A lot of people have been reporting issues regarding the tune in high heat environments.

Pretty familiar with Pitt but not really the weather there. What are temps and humidity like up there this time of year?
