Greek, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you find the part number for the module?

You know, a few years ago I was able to find some posts about people attempting this and I vaguely recall what you’re saying. Knowing VW, this seems reasonable. Looking at the Erwin diagrams to fully verify that would be logical next step, aside from find that post. Thank you for your insight! This won't work, at least for the MK7, not sure about MK7.5. Years ago I read posts of people who bought the DLA version of these headlights and could not get them to work at all. They have different connectors. I urge you to research this before you end up with $1500 worth of paperweights.
Perhaps, but I think this thread was just about swapping in Golf R headlights with AFS, RoW or USA, into a GTI. And a discussion about the extra (Golf R) ballasts being different, etc. It's really about the difference between GTI and Golf R AFS headlights, including those from Europe.I think this was the forum.

Actually the DLA headlight connector is the same (T14j/k) and it has less pins than the NAR headlight. I know one is for the orange side marker but need a ROW wiring diagram to figure out the rest.Perhaps, but I think this thread was just about swapping in Golf R headlights with AFS, RoW or USA, into a GTI. The DLA (Dynamic Light Assist) headlights are an entirely different animal and if I remember correctly the connector supposedly has many more pins. I think it was a separate thread, but I could be wrong.
