I have a 2019 Golf R DSG and noticed I experienced a weird issue when I was at a complete stop at a red light. Mind you, I was in Drive and in Normal Mode in DCC when this issue occurred.
Once the light turned green, I gently hit the accelerated and noticed there was a slight hesitation which I never felt before the engine suddenly cut off and the dashboard display flickered for a second and said the engine running and started working again. This definitely isn't the start-and-stop functionality because I never had this issue before and it has been turned off. I tried to replicate the issue at a complete stop multiple times afterward and couldn't replicate it. I didn't throw an EPC or CEL light at all. I will need to borrow a diagnostic tool to see if I threw some sort of code, but I never experienced this problem before.
Also, the car only has 27k miles too. Does anyone know what might have happened?
