Ed’s Reps/BMP Headlights Issue

Have had the MK7.5 style lights on my MK7 for about 4.5 years with no issues. Suddenly, when using the left turn signal with the headlights on, the car gives a warning about the DRL being out, even though DRL is working normally. Doesn’t happen with the headlights off.

Anyone ever seen this happen/know what could cause this?

I've recently started having the same issue. I thought it might have been tied to my main Xenon bulb being out on the left (which I just replaced), but the issue persists. Was thinking it was an early warning or something before the headlight burned out, with it maybe pulling less current. Headlights are on and I get the check left DRL/parking light error. Not sure if it's close to when I use the turn signal but will pay attention next time I see it ding.

I never changed any of the codings in OBDEleven when I installed them in my car back in 2016 and they've been perfect since I bought them (non-lighting package highline trim, had halogens but bought a set of Ed's replicas with 35w Morimoto Elite HID kit - also using the CANBUS adapters). Going to try that tomorrow after some more research in the forums.

@Sarge you didn't happen to change any of your other exterior bulbs in your tails did you? I changed a few with LED bulbs and wondered if that was maybe causing any issues as I think the parking light is related to the tails? Could be wrong.
