Things got out of hand. I could write a book about how much I love these cars, but I'll try to let the parts list do the talking.
Engine:

Chassis/Suspension:

iSweep IS1500 pads f/r
Wheels/Tires:
BBS LM 19x8.5 ET48, 5mm rear spacer
235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Here's how it sits today at just over 6 years old with 45,000 miles. It was my daily for 5 years and 40,000 miles, from Unitronic Stage 1 at 4,500 miles to full bolt-ons EQT Stage 2 at 30k. Now it's just a super usable hot rod.
Never vibed with the Mk8, think the Mk7 is a future classic, so I upgraded it like VW did the Mk8:
-aluminum subframe
-new dampers
-new turbo
-more fueling
-fancy diff
Now it's fast as fuck, handles incredibly, and rides beautifully. For me it starts and ends with the KW dampers, they totally transformed the car and inspired adding power. It's perfect and I love it. Big huge crazy thanks to Avery Jennings at Over Engineered Garage in Fresno. Without his expertise and professionalism none of this would have been possible. And a big thanks to the whole Mk7 community, all the contributed knowledge and experience is invaluable.
