Also (replying to my own post), what is the best method to clean intercooler prior to install? I want to ensure any fabrication nastiness and dirt is removed, but do not want to leave any residue/scale that tap water may cause. Appreciate any assistance and thank you.

I just rinsed mine out with a hose then blew threw it with an air compressor. I guess you could run some distilled water down it if youre worried about water deposits.
