I'm curious on who makes it and if its good. I think I have only found knock offs so I can't find reviews.

I have only seen on Ali-Express.
So likely a China maker.

Just something one must try.
Look for good supplier rating, look at store items and if they have many GTI items, might be a safe buy.
There is some risk, but I would buy with the plan to not return.
I have never tried to return or refund, but I think the task would be an up hill hike.
I tend to buy lower cost items but overall has turned out ok.
Sometimes you get a part that is not for all MK7 cars.
You try to verify before buying but sometimes I have been wrong.
Main thing, make sure it states GTI or R and not just a Golf item.
GTI hatch is different that Golf and R. Some Golf hatch items do not 100% fit GTI USA.

But I have purchased some Carbon Fiber items that for the money. looked and fit good.
My DSG shifter side inserts are to me, very good.
