DSG transmission?

I don’t believe this. Your experience is your experience but in mine, no automatic transmission has ever “adapted” to my driving style. That’s snake oil.

You don’t have to believe me. I’ve only had this car for 5-1/2 years and have had two Audis and two VW’s previously. There is even a setting to reset the transmission learning adaptation to start over again. It’s been this way since my 2000 1.8 Passat and not sure how long before that. I drive my car everyday in sport mode and it’s not aggressive and doesn’t shift too soon or hold a gear too long. It learned my style. Just like all of the previous VAG models
