What don't you like about the gas pedal programming? I don't feel any of the early sensitivity that mfrs will sometimes put in to trick people into "wow, this is fast"

Throttle input doesn't feel like it's 1:1 and there's a slight dead spot at the top. After years of feathering the gas on other cars it just feels weird how much you have to lean into it on the GTI. Especially with how much torque it makes down low.

I’ll take any other manual over the GTI manual. Literally any other manual. VW fumbled it

After doing most all Mt mods there are - diesel geek ssk, spring, delay valve and swirl delete, extra heavy knob, upgraded engine, tranny and dogbone mounts, ss clutch line (and an rsr clutch), I'd say the result is somewhere in the "pretty decent" range. Like a 6.5 out of 10.
