DSG gear selector lubricant

I have noticed that the gear selector in my DSG is feeling kinda ruff. Not the actual transmission ou gear changes, just que selector when moving from park to reverse or drive. Is there any way to lubricate it?

Yeah you can lubricate it but it is already greased and should not need it! Open the cubby hatch and pull up with your fingers at the front of the shift boot trim like this guy did,

it will pop right off and you can lube the shifter.
