I've got a stock GTI w/ DSG, not expecting anything spectacular for 1/4 mile times but I've been itching to take it up to New England Dragway to see what she can do. Its been a long time (~10 years) since I've been on the track and I want to know what your procedure is for setting the car up for drag racing. I'll be going up for street nights, so no drag radials or slicks (not that I have them anyways), and they don't prep the track so its not going to be particularly sticky.

Are you turning traction control off, going to Sport+, or just leaving it as-is?
Manual or Sport? What are your shift points?
Tire pressure for stock Pirelli?

Traction control off, DSG in sport mode, street tires between 20-25psi and use launch control. You may need to pedal it some in 1st or you can just grab the upshift paddle early to reduce wheel spin. GL and have fun!

Acquire RE71R, TCS off, S mode, floor both pedal, side step brake pedal at 2.5 yellow...:D

Granted this worked for MK6 DSG, with 60 more ft-lb you might need more modulation...lol

This is done in ProSolo, basically autoX with drag racing start...
