Drivers side wind noise?

Hello guys, the seal replaced is the outer seal that meets with the roof and the small window.

from my receipt the part number is V5G4 837 432 K5 AP 521508/CHANNEL.

There were 2 other parts of a pop rivet and a clip.

The dealer charged me £208 to supply and fit. The parts were £59.70 excl VAT and i was charged 1.5 hours labour.

Not sure if that’s the same seal I’m thinking. Could you send a picture?

Ah right I see! The one I’ve been thinking of is actually only visible when the door is open. The one between the door and the interior, maybe I should look at the window seal you’ve had changed.

Was there any visible defects to it when it was making the noise?

I compared it to the passenger side and the difference was tiny. Where the seal bends down and meets with the small corner window it was very slightly different to the passenger side. What I will never know is whether that is the reason for it or maybe it just didn't fit properly elsewhere. The noise did seam to be coming from the mirror area and was only really prominent in cross winds and at high speed.
