Yes it allows you to select from four driving modes eg Eco, Sport , Normal and Individual.
If you have DSG you get a further mode Comfort.
It alters the throttle mapping & engine management & some other parameters such as the air conditioning.
You can see the switch button to the side of the gear stick...
Mode selection is via a menu option on the main touchscreen.
