That's a catalytic converter code, nothign to do with timing chain.
Update with a little information:

2017 6 speed GTI Sport (performance package)

I’ve been running the car with an IE stage 2 tune since 2/2021 & 58k miles on the car.
In September of 2021, my car suffered a burnt exhaust valve. The car had 70k miles at the time and I had the head rebuilt and fitted with stronger valves and springs.

Fast forward to the latest issue…
My timing chain tensioner failed. I had chain slap that sounded like a jar of marbles moving around. I purchased a complete timing chain kit, camshaft bracket and VVT valves. I had my local Volkswagen dealer do the work & the parts were ordered from FCP EURO.

This took place on September 2022 with 87,000 miles on the car.

The car runs fine with 92k miles. I hope the car remains healthy for a long time. I find myself worrying at times. I’m thinking of removing the downpipe and going back to the IE stage 1 tune. The clutch has been upgraded with a HSTUNING RSR kit. An ECS FMIC is also installed.
I sometimes ask myself if I should let the car go, while reading about the crank walk issues that some have experienced. I’m reluctant to push the car and have fun with it.
