Hello. New 2019 R owner here.
Looking through some documentation for the Polar FIS, I'm seeing references to a "calculated" engine oil temperature & "measured" engine oil temperature. What's the difference? I'm guessing "calculated" may be for cars that don't have a true oil temp sensor, or providing some sort of "stable" readout, similar to an idiot light? The oil level sensor from ECS seems to indicate it measures both level & temperature:

And if both of these do exist on our cars, which does the info cluster display? Seems pretty "measured" to me.
