I’m new to driving, having recently bought a mk7 tsi 1.8t there are some things i’m still trying to figure out. I’m looking into getting new rotors and pads and hoping to upgrade without spending to much. Will the gti rotors and brakes fit my tsi?

Non-PP GTI pads will fit the Golf. As stated, the calipers are actually the same (99% of the time, see the GolfDave tutorial), and the only difference is the carriers, which you will need to use the calipers with a 312 mm rotor.

I ended getting GTI calipers with carriers, I found a set in good shape on eBay, and it was less than buying carriers only. I was due for new pads/rotors and a fluid flush, so it ended up being almost no difference in cost to get the larger rotors and red GTI calipers vs just replacing the stock parts.
