DIY rear chassis brace anyone?

So I will be honest I hate spending money on a brace that I can make myself , I have not removed my rear side panels in my hatch as to see why we can’t diy a shock tower brace , has anyone tried this or reasons why it’s not done? I seen ecs sells a brace that bolts up behind the rear sway bar, is that a good brace option?

I've thought about trying to make a homemade version of a unibrace, but every time it works out to nearly the same cost and way more time than I want to spend, plus I'd end up with an unproven product that has no support if it fails.

Cool idea in concept, but likely not the best way to go.

The rear seat brace definitely had an effect on my car, just less so than the cheaper trailing arm braces. I would start with those and trailing arm bushings before venturing inside the cabin. Shipping has sky rocketed since I ordered but BAF Motorsport was the most cost effective solution I could find at the time. The welds look better than the Eurosport as well.
