After replacing with the new switch the car still hesitates to start? As in still having to be a bit forceful with the push start to get it to turn over? Other things to check.
1. Battery health
2. Key Fob battery
3. Alternator
When I replaced the button, I also upgraded the battery to an AGM based on @golfdave DIY. It was not the most scientific approach but the combination of the two resolved my issue. Sorry, @AxMan
It worked this morning. Quick press, and it started right up. So weird. My battery is good, key fobs both have new batteries, and my alternator is good.
My car will not start. I was working on it all day and left the doors open with the battery connected. I was replacing my carpet so I removed the center console and disconnected the push start button.
But it’s weird because the car won’t even jump start. Do you think this is the problem?
