DIY Footwell lights retrofit - questions

I have just taken a Photos for you how It works in my case
Switch off doors open, footwell lights up

Switch off doors closed

Switch on doors closed/opened

Went back today and got this sorted out, looks like there were a few errors during install. Anyway all sorted now but mlewando when you do the rear sets please take lots of photos while you do it.

I'll then just copy what you have done

Set ordered. I am going to install them soon!

Artox, Yes, kit is installed and I have got brilliant illumination in the front as well in rear area

I've got a kit for these footwell lights but i'm struggling to find the BCM. Is it on the passenger or driver's side on a RHD car?

Stephen - I think there is no space within passenger area due to glovebox.
So my assumption is the BCM in RHD cars is under steering wheel.

Sorry for hijacking your post mlewando. Can I just simply buy an LED strip and connect it to the dome light by finding the wire from the fuse box?

Well, possibly you can, but you won't have features of brightness adjustment, possibility of turning the lights off/on etc..
Ask some more aware guys how to connect it to fuse..

Thanks mate. That's what I thought and I don't really care if I can't adjust the brightness or not.

mlewando - for the front footwell light how do you connect it to the BCM?
