@Diggs24 can't it be set like the ROW? I heard an MK7 a friend have in Germany and it was barely noticeable, I think close to 1/2 what you are getting with the -15 degrees.

As a side question, do you know why the 7 speed don't burble between shifts like the 6 speed? I thought that the "farts" were DSG related only, but my wife's SQ5 does it, and as far as I know the transmission is an 8 speed triptonic automatic and not a dual clutch.

Does your friend have an aftermarket DP? Stock DP I bet it's very quiet. I did -10 as well but left the garage closed so it's magnified.

This is why the A05 cars (7 speed DSGs) don't fart. No timing cut at the shift:

vs stock MK7 GTI (S50) DQ250 DSG:

Your wife's SQ5 probably has that table populated.

Stock downpipe Miltek cat-back. It braps twice and stops on rev-ups. She wants it louder... probably going to do a custom muffler for her, she's waiting to be out of warranty just in case. I received a few weeks ago one of those adjustable electric cut-off valves from Ali-Express to try on the GTI, and looking at the SQ5 exhaust it is all I need. It would be the same set up as the AWE SwitchPath for the R, as it only have a valve on one side.

So the 7 DSG don't have that table populated? I reread now... Can it be removed?, or it's not editable on our cars?

Or by not having timing cut at the shift makes the shift faster?

shots fired! j/k

Yeah, just tinkering, don't really care. Wanted to see what happened when I messed with tables.

Hahaha, to be clear I still think it's cool, but if I had the ability to toon (maybe someday) I'd probably obsess over dialing the sound in if I was happy with the important aspects of the tune 🐇💨

Came out to the garage smelling like gas last weekend and a puddle under the passenger side. Of course that means the suction pump failed. It had an open recall but I'll be damned if I let those monkeys touch my car and fuck something up so I did it myself. Pretty easy on the 2015. 2 fuel line connectors and it slides up and off. It's right inside the tank towards the back. 45mins and $26 later done. No E85 goo on the fuel pump either so must be getting some good quality stuff. No corrosion on connectors still.

Was having issues filling up. It would slowly hiss as soon as I took off the gas cap and I could only get a gallon at a time. Took off the charcoal cannister and she was pretty full. Used my ryobi 18v inflator to blow it out. Got 2.6g in it after the blowout which was pretty much full tank but it didnt click off at 1g so it’s much better. I suspect it’s still a bit damp. Will report back at next fillup.
